The data centre is the new electronic information system for federal finances. It allows searching for and illustrating the desired federal budget data independently. Direct access to the data centre is available for selected analyses.
Under Open Government Data all data centre data are available for download (four files in accordance with the OGD standard of opendata.swiss).
The time series contain data series showing the trend since 1990. The data is grouped by financial statement and budget.
Federal budget in accordance with SDDS: the Special Data Dissemination Standard (SDDS) was established by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in order to guide member countries who have, or wish to have, access to international capital markets. The functioning of financial markets should be improved through better and standardized information. Additionally, compliance with the standard should contribute to good and transparent economic policy. Switzerland has committed itself in 1996 to the standard.
