Open Government Data

In April 2014, the Federal Council adopted the Open Government Data Strategy for Switzerland, which is binding for the Federal Administration. The term "open government data" refers to official data that is made available for further use free of charge and in open format. All open government data on Switzerland's federal finances is available for download in accordance with the opendata.swiss standard.

Where do the information and data come from?

The data are derived from the data portal. The data portal is the new electronic information system containing all of the data on federal finances available on the FFA’s website. Decisive is the information and data from the budget with integrated task and financial plan and the federal decrees (available in German, French and Italian), as well as the state financial statements:
