Information on invoice transmission via email

Invoices are sent via email unencrypted and unsigned. This is generally associated with risks. The invoice recipient is aware of the fact that email invoices are sent via the internet. This is an open computer network accessible to everyone. Data transmission via the internet can take place across national borders, even if the sender and recipient are located in Switzerland. It cannot be ruled out that the data may be intercepted, viewed or manipulated by third parties during transmission. For this reason, it is also difficult to rule out conclusions being drawn about an existing business relationship and what it entails.
