News E-bill
All invoices for the Confederation must be submitted electronically. This e-billing requirement for suppliers saves time and costs, reduces paper consumption and speeds up processing. Small procurements are exempt from this requirement.
Brief introduction
E-billing enables the digital and automated transmission of invoice data to the Confederation. Invoices can either be emailed as a PDF file or be submitted as a structured dataset via a service provider. The Confederation processes the data electronically, which avoids manual logging errors and accelerates the process.
Submitting e-bills to the Confederation
E-bills can be submitted to the Confederation in several ways. This allows faster, paperless processing and reduces the administrative burden.
Receiving e-bills from the Confederation
Private individuals and business customers can receive e-bills from the Confederation electronically. Business customers can either integrate e-bills directly into their accounting software or download them via online banking. Private individuals receive their invoices directly in their bank's online banking application.
List of administrative units
The list of administrative units shows all e-bill recipients in the public administration. This includes a large number of federal offices, funds and other public institutions that can receive electronic invoices.
