Consolidated financial statements: positive result despite social insurance loss

Bern, 10.04.2019 - During its meeting on 10 April 2019, the Federal Council approved the consolidated financial statements for 2018. The federal consolidated financial statements ended the year with a surplus of CHF 5.7 billion, representing a drop of 3.1 billion on the previous year. The decrease was due primarily to the social insurance loss.
