New Director of Central Compensation Office appointed
Bern, 07.10.2025 — Jean-Luc Morchetti will take over the management of the Central Compensation Office (CCO) in Geneva on 1 February 2026. He will succeed Adrien Dupraz, who has headed the CCO since 2020.
The Central Compensation Office (CCO) in Geneva will have a new director: Jean-Luc Morchetti will take over from Adrien Dupraz on 1 February 2026. Jean-Luc Morchetti (1971) is currently Head of the Business Division and a member of senior management at Identitas AG. Prior to this, he managed and transformed operational and administrative areas at Swiss Post AG and CWS AG. An engineer by training and a specialist in organisational development, he meets the requirements of the demanding position of Director of the CCO with his many years of experience and leadership skills. He is ideally qualified, particularly with regard to the upcoming digital transformation projects. His proficiency in four languages (English, French, German and Italian) is a further advantage for his future role.
Sabine D’Amelio, Director of the Federal Finance Administration, has appointed Jean-Luc Morchetti with the approval of the Federal Department of Finance. He will succeed Adrien Dupraz, who has headed the CCO since 2020 and announced in spring 2025 that he was planning a change of career. Sabine D'Amelio would like to thank Adrien Dupraz for his commitment and the successful further development of the CCO, and to wish Jean-Luc Morchetti every success in tackling the challenging tasks that lie ahead. She is looking forward to working with him.
The Central Compensation Office (CCO)
The Central Compensation Office, based in Geneva, is the Confederation's central executive body for the first pillar (AHV, IV) and compensation for loss of earnings. It provides a variety of central services within the social security system, and is responsible in particular for accounting, the central register and the movement of funds. For insured persons resident abroad, it processes AHV/IV pension applications, calculates the amount of pensions and also pays them out. It is also in charge of voluntary AHV/IV insurance for persons abroad. The Federal Compensation Office provides services in the area of the first pillar, compensation for loss of earnings and family allowances for the staff of the central Federal Administration and enterprises affiliated with the Confederation. In organisational terms, the CCO is part of the Federal Finance Administration and employs almost 870 people.
