Financial planning parameters

The macroeconomic parameters form the basis for the Confederation's financial planning, and are themselves based on economic forecasts from SECO and internal assumptions by the Federal Finance Administration. They are updated quarterly and serve as a basis for the budget, the financial plan and the state financial statements.

The macroeconomic parameters form the basis for the federal government's financial planning. They are based on the economic forecasts of the federal government's economic forecasts expert group, the medium-term forecasts of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) and the FFA's assumptions, and are generally updated every quarter.

The June parameters are used for the dispatch on the budget with integrated task and financial plan, and the March parameters with the latest estimates for the preceding year are used for the dispatch on the financial statements. The other updates are used for rolling internal financial planning.
